But weddings are busy. There are photos to take, guests to greet, suppliers to coordinate and a whole lot happening around you. The last thing you should have to worry about is whether your dog is comfortable, where they're supposed to be next, or who is watching them.
That's where we come in.
A Pawfect Day provides calm, one-on-one wedding dog attendance across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, helping your dog be part of the moments that matter while taking care of the practical details around them.
From arriving at the venue and getting settled, to supporting your dog during the ceremony and photos, through to their handover or return home, we'll work with you to create a plan that suits your dog and your wedding.
You get to be present in the moment. Your dog gets to be part of it too.
How we make having your dog at your wedding easier
Before the wedding
We'll get to know you and your dog before the big day, including their personality, routine, comfort levels and anything we need to be aware of.
Your Meet & Greet gives us the opportunity to make a plan that feels right for both you and your dog.
Getting your dog to the wedding
We can discuss the best arrangements for getting your dog to and from the venue, depending on your location and plans.
That means your friends or family members don't have to leave your wedding ceremony to organise your dog's arrival or work out what happens afterwards.
Wedding photos
Want your dog in your wedding photos? We'll help make it happen.
We'll coordinate with you and your photographer so your dog can be included in the photos you want, without having to stay involved for the entire day.
During the ceremony
Whether your dog is walking down the aisle, taking part in the ceremony or simply there for a few special moments, we'll be there to support them.
We'll keep an eye on their comfort and behaviour throughout, so you can focus on the person you're marrying rather than wondering what your dog is doing.
As your wedding dog attendant, our role is to be your dog's person for the day — keeping them safe, comfortable and where they need to be.
When your dog has had enough
Dogs don't need to be involved in every moment of a wedding.
If your dog becomes tired or overwhelmed, we'll recognise the signs and adjust the plan. That might mean giving them some quiet time, taking them away from the activity, arranging their handover or returning them home, depending on your agreed arrangements.
Your dog's wellbeing always comes first.

All dressed up in their tux and flower-girl dress, Winston & Macey were so happy to be by their pawrents’ side on their special day at Twin Waters Golf Club. They looked every bit the part and loved being included in the celebrations!
BJ’s big moment at Sandstone Point Hotel ✦ Senior boy BJ proved that even the older dogs can have their perfect wedding moment, walking down the aisle with the bride’s nephew at a gentle pace. With plenty of shade and water breaks to keep him comfortable, BJ watched the ceremony from the side.
Ruby did what she loves best — being with her humans! She happily mingled with guests big and small before and after the ceremony, soaking up all the love and attention while we kept an eye on her and made sure she was happy and comfortable throughout the day.
Bambi and Bruce at Hillstone St Lucia ✦ Bambi and Bruce made their dads’ summer wedding at Hillstone St Lucia extra special, even on a super hot day. Bambi walked down the aisle while Bruce waited at the front with the other dad, both enjoying every minute of the celebration.
Skills of a talented photographer ✦ Cooper Brady Photography was incredible - he captured scenes naturally and without the couple having to worry about a thing at Yandina Station.
Levi’s big moment at Tiffany’s Maleny ✦ Watching Mum and Dad get hitched at Tiffany’s Maleny was a special day for Levi, too! He ran down the aisle into their arms with pure joy, then enjoyed calm dog sitting during the canapé reception while the humans celebrated.
