Schedule A — A Pawfect Day Wedding Pet Attendance
This Schedule applies to A Pawfect Day wedding pet attendance services provided by OMH. It should be read together with the OMH Terms & Conditions.
1. Service scope
A Pawfect Day is a wedding pet attendance service. The exact inclusions for your booking will be listed in your quote, invoice, or booking confirmation and may include pre-event planning, meet and greet, transport, handling, ceremony attendance, photo-time attendance, and handover to your nominated person.
2. Meet & Greet and booking acceptance
We may discuss your wedding booking at a Meet & Greet and verbally agree, in principle, to provide the service. However, the booking is not confirmed until we issue the invoice or payment request and you pay the required deposit. By making that payment, you confirm your booking and your acceptance of the OMH Terms & Conditions and this Schedule.
3. Wedding details and client responsibilities
You must provide accurate details about the wedding date, ceremony time, venue, access requirements, contact people, and any restrictions affecting pets. You are responsible for confirming that the venue permits dogs and that all required permissions, timings, and access arrangements are in place. If you do not provide accurate or complete information, we may need to change or cancel the service.
4. Timings and availability
Wedding services are booked around the event times agreed in your confirmation. If the event runs late, timings change, or additional waiting is required, extra charges may apply. We will do our best to remain flexible, but we are not responsible for delays caused by the venue, suppliers, weather, traffic, or changes to the wedding run sheet.
5. Dog suitability and welfare
Your dog must be suitable for a wedding environment and able to participate safely. If, before or on the day, we reasonably believe your dog is too stressed, unsafe, unwell, aggressive, or unsuitable for the service, we may adjust, pause, or stop the service in the interests of safety and welfare. We will use reasonable judgment to support the dog, but we cannot guarantee behaviour, cooperation, or photo outcomes.
6. Payments
Any deposit, booking fee, or invoice amount must be paid by the due date stated in the booking confirmation, payment reminder or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, payment of the required amount confirms your booking. Additional costs such as extended attendance, parking, travel changes, emergency care, or third-party charges may be invoiced separately.
7. Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or change your wedding booking, you must notify us as early as possible. Cancellation and change fees may apply depending on how much notice you give and whether we are able to rebook the date.
If we need to cancel or change your booking, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative or refund for any service not yet delivered, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Wet weather, heat and venue contingencies
Where guest greeting, photo support, transport, handling, or other services are included in your booking, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver those services as part of the agreed package. The exact way those services are delivered may be adjusted to suit the venue’s rules, weather conditions, access arrangements, the wedding timeline, and the dog’s welfare on the day.
If the ceremony or another part of the event must take place in a non-pet-friendly area, we may remain with the dog at a suitable alternative location and continue to provide the care and support agreed with you. Where practical, we will also assist with any included photo support or other booked elements in a safe and venue-compliant way.
If the venue does not allow a suitable safe alternative, or if the dog’s welfare means the service cannot proceed, we will discuss the available options with you where practicable. Any cancellation, credit, refund, or partial delivery will be handled in accordance with these Terms, Schedule A, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Refunds, alternatives and partial delivery
We will always make reasonable efforts to provide the booked service or a suitable alternative if circumstances change, including where weather, venue restrictions, or the dog’s welfare affect the original plan. Where we can provide a partial service or an agreed alternative, a refund will generally not be offered for that booking element. If the booked service cannot proceed and no reasonable alternative is available, we may offer a credit, reschedule, or refund as appropriate, subject to these Terms and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If your dog becomes seriously ill, dies, or is otherwise unable to attend before the wedding day, we will treat the booking with compassion and fairly consider the circumstances, including whether a credit, reschedule, or refund is appropriate under the booking conditions and the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Emergency care
If your dog becomes ill or injured before or during the event, you authorise us to take reasonable steps to obtain veterinary care if needed. You are responsible for all veterinary and related costs unless the issue is caused by our proven negligence. We may contact you or your nominated emergency contact before arranging non-urgent treatment where time allows.
11. Liability
We will take reasonable care in providing the service. However, you acknowledge that wedding attendance involves inherent risks, including stress, escape, injury, damage to clothing or property, and timing changes outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the OMH Terms & Conditions, and nothing in this Schedule excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Photos and media
You may grant permission for photos or short videos to be taken during the booking for personal or marketing use. If you do not want your dog’s image used publicly, you must tell us before the booking begins.
